Celina, Ohio is the single North American location for Honda Foundry's world renowned engine and frame component manufacturing. The students asked questions about CAPT, and Grace & Nathan did an outstanding job generating a lot of interest for students.

Mr. Bill Martin from Mercer Savings Bank Speaks to Tri Star CBI Class

Tri Star CBI class would like to thank Mr. Bill Martin, President & CEO from Mercer Savings Bank, for talking to students about opportunities in the banking industry. 

Mr. Martin discussed the importance of saving for the future as well as money management. 

CBI students learn about saving, investing, annuities, bonds, CD's, budgeting and much more! This is a great class for learning post graduation skills.

Tri Star CBI class would like to thank Carol Knapke and Jeff Pax from Pax Machine Works for taking the time to talk about the opportunities offered at their company.

Army Sergeant Visits Tri Star CBI Students

Tri Star CBI class would like to thank Sergeant Walker for an outstanding presentation about the Army. 

Information regarding different career fields when serving in the United States Army was presented to junior and senior CBI students.

Student Scholarships Earned Through Tri Star CBI

Nick Laffin, Jaden Braun, Matt Muter, and Nathan Bowman received scholarships through the West Central Ohio Workforce Development Initiative.

These students were eligible to receive these scholarships because they are Tri Star CBI students during 2017 - 2018.

Nick Laffin

Nick Laffin received the 20 Under 20 Award and he is employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Nick is also a Level 1 firefighter who earned his machine trade certificate by taking night courses.

Jaden Braun

Jaden Braun received a 20 Under 20 award and he is employed by Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Celina. Jaden earned a certificate in robotics training through the Workforce Development Initiative of West Central Ohio.

Matt Muter

 Matt Muter attended adult welding classes at night while also attending high school. Matt received a scholarship through the West Central Ohio Workforce Development Initiative. He currently works for Celina Precision Machining.

Nathan Bowman

Nathan Bowman earned an $800 scholarship as a junior to attend adult welding school in St. Marys. The scholarship was from the West Central Ohio Workforce Development Initiative.
