Local Employers from Mercer & Auglaize Counties

Fifteen area employers from Auglaize and Mercer Counties participated in an Employer Forum hosted by Tri Star Career Compact at the Celina Education Complex Wednesday.  Don Berry, Tri Star CBI Instructor, and Jared Ebbing, Mercer County’s Economic Development Director, served as moderators for the two-hour panel discussion.

The forum was organized as part of an inservice day for Celina teachers but was open to anyone interested in hearing from the employers.  The company representatives discussed their employment needs, addressing issues they see when hiring students and answering questions such as what teachers could do to prepare their students for employment.

The information presented by local business is valuable to students and adults as it addresses the local employment needs of Mercer and Auglaize Counties.
